Individual Coaching

60-90 minute sessions to address current running form & practice chi techniques.

Walking Workshops

  • $120 a half day
  • $225 a full day
Level 1: Introduction to Chi Walking

This workshop will guide you through the philosophy of the Chi Walking method, correct posture for walking, and finally how to Chi Walk.

Level 2: Advanced Workshop in Chi Walking

(Participants must have completed Level I to enrol)

This workshop will elaborate on focuses learnt so far, address breathing techniques, hill walking, and program development.

Running Workshops

  • $150 a half day

Level 1: Introduction to Chi Running

This workshop will guide you through the philosophy of the Chi Running method, correct posture for your run, how to Chi Walk and lastly, how to Chi Run.

Level 2: Advanced Workshop in Chi Running

(Participants must have completed Level I to enrol)

The advanced workshop will address gears and stride length, breathing techniques, cadence and hills.  When time allows, program development will also be included.

Level 2: Hills and Trails Workshop

(Participants must have completed Level I to enrol)

This is the ideal workshop for people who enjoy being in nature.  Instruction is provided in how to run the gradual uphill, the steep uphill, the gradual downhill and the steep downhill.  Instructors will also take you through the key aspects of trail running.

Malabar Headland National Park Trek

Come and join your fellow Chi Runners and Walkers on Sunday 28 July at 7am, for a picturesque walk or run.  You will see spectacular cliff top views, banksia scrub and more.  The total distance will be 13km.  However, shorter distances possible too.  The pace will be relaxed.

We will meet out the front of South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club, which is located at 1 R Arthur Byrne Reserve, Maroubra.

Day Retreats

Day Retreats are held four times a year, in Blackheath, in the Blue Mountains.

Day Retreats offer an opportunity to learn about Chi Running, in a beautiful and relaxed setting.

The day includes an introduction to Chi Running, café lunch with complimentary wine, a ½ hour massage of your choice,  Qi Gong, and a video analysis of your running form both at the beginning and at the end of the retreat.

Opportunities exist to stay locally and to make a weekend of it.

$250 per person

Positive Thinking on the Run; Strategies to Enhance your Running Experience, 3pm-5pm, Bicentennial Park Glebe

In this workshop you will identify and explore the sorts of thoughts you have when running, and how they either help or hinder your experience.  You will also be provided with techniques to modify your thoughts and feelings.  This will be both a theoretical and experiential workshop, so bring your running shoes!

$130 per person
